This Easy Cheese Sauce comes together so quickly, you’ll be putting it on everything.
Want an easy cheesy sauce to serve with chips, over broccoli, or poured over a baked potato? Look no further. This one is so easy and only a few ingredients! And, bonus, it’s a make-it-in-one-pot recipe. Yes!!
I only slightly altered this recipe from The Diet Chef. I just added some salt and pepper into the equation and increased the amount of cheese. It’s a low carb recipe, so if you’re not low carb you can just use regular milk in place of the almond milk.
Some friendly advice: it’s pretty thin when you first cook it. If you want it as a sauce or dip, let it cool to the desired consistency first. However, if you are a low carb lover, you might just eat it as is…it makes a great cheese soup!
For some fun, you could try switching up or combining cheeses.
What is your favorite thing to adorn with cheese sauce? I think for me it’s probably broccoli because, even though I do love broccoli, I love it so much more with cheese sauce! I’m low carb now, but pre-LC I would have died and gone to heaven with some tortilla chips dipped in this golden elixir! (Like chips? Try this salsa recipe too….maybe mix some into the cheese sauce!)
